Connecting field and office for impact
Our operations link field and office teams to provide urgent care. Field staff face complex environments, while office teams coordinate resources, policies and training, maintaining operational readiness and alignment with MSF values.
Field Teams
Deployed internationally, provide medical care, surgery, mental health support, maternal and child health, WASH and epidemic response. Assignments usually last 6–12 months.
Office Teams
Based in South Asia, handle administration, finance, human resources, project management, training and operational support for field missions.
Coordination
Field and office staff work together to ensure supplies, security, compliance and operational continuity.
Mobility & Expertise
Staff rotate between field and office roles to maintain capacity, share knowledge and support diverse missions.
Safety & Compliance
Both teams follow strict security protocols and humanitarian principles, maintaining neutrality, impartiality and medical ethics.
